My work explores how form exists in space through line, depth and movement. The interaction of materials with light and environment is a constant challenge and exploration. Working primarily in metal, I combine hand processes with technology to create large-scale forms, using surface design as both texture and narrative. These details become integral to how each piece is experienced and understood.

Rooted in my upbringing along the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, my work is shaped by place, memory, and identity. I am especially interested in public art as a way to create accessible, shared experiences that offer moments of curiosity, reflection, and joy. Through my work, I hope to invite people to pause, engage, and carry a sense of connection to this place as they move through their day.

Throughout my career, I have been drawn to the scale and complexity of public art—the design challenges, the construction process, and, most importantly, the opportunity to engage with the communities these works serve.

Some of my most meaningful projects have invited people to participate in the creative process, and I have found tremendous fulfillment in watching individuals learn, contribute, and take pride in creating something that enriches the lives of others.

Those relationships, formed through collaboration and shared purpose, are among the most rewarding aspects of my work. While art created in isolation can be personally fulfilling, public art created in partnership with a community has the power to belong to everyone.
